You may be aware of Maghound if not, take a look! There are a number of magazines to choose from and a set amount that you pay monthly. As an example, you can choose 3 magazines for $4.95 monthly ~ not much more than you'd pay for one. I know that Amazon offers some $5.00 deals occasionally which is excellent too, especially if the subscription is for one year!

I really have a problem with magazines. I get many in the mail and I always want a stack at the store. I'm trying to just stick to my subscriptions and not buy as many. Most of my subscriptions are either gifts, free or under $5. I had some great offers lately...I wonder if they are having trouble selling mags these days?

Oh Pat sweetie...
ReplyDeleteYou have been peering into my windows. I have magazines, gosh knows I try to not order anymore, but they each have some element that I need to get from Monday - Sunday, and I just have to have them. So many to read, and so many to design, and some just for cutting pics from. Love them, love them. A girl can never have to many magazines. I am going to buy some storage boxes this year and start organizing them a little better than I have.
Thanks for sharing sweetie. I love it when my bloggie friends share.
Have a beautiful Wednesday. Happy Hump Day. Country hugs sweetie and so much love, Sherry
We Canadians don't often get the same deals for magazine subscriptions as you do. But YES; I am a magazineaholic like you.
ReplyDeleteFor me though, other than a gardening magazine, I won't buy them new. I'm fortunate enough to be able to find fairly new mags at all the thrift stores around: and they range in price from 10 cents to $2 depending on the mag and the store. And I must say, I do enjoy an older magazine, especially if it's a holiday issue.
