~ Vertigo is NOT fun! ~

Yes, it hit quite suddenly Saturday afternoon when I was trying to get ready to go out to dinner. I haven't been doing much since then which is such a waste of time IMHO.  Went to the Dr yesterday afternoon and he said it was inner ear/sinus problems...which I knew. :-)  Gave me a shot as well as a nasal spray to try. I also picked up some Anti-Vert and Mucinex. What I did have was not working so well ~ let's hope this does the trick!  He also said to drink lots of fluids and rest so that's what I'm doing.  We have such gorgeous weather this week ~ in the 50's at night and low 80's during the day. When I can, I take Forrester out for lovely walks and just breathe in the cooler air and observe the tinges of fall ~ love it!  Ok, back to rest, books & movies.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

xoxo

  5. I hope you feel well soon. My SIL had it and she couldn't even drive. Your doctor sounds like he knows what he is doing.

    Thinking of you...

  7. I just hate that ol' vertigo! I had it off and on for a long time when my kids were younger. There is nothing fun about trying to navigate after-school pick-up traffic when your head is swimming! I finally had a doctor who showed me some simple exercises that ice skaters do to "fatigue" the nerves that are involved and ease the dizziness. They actually helped quite a bit. The exercises were actually quite simple. You might can google it and see if you can find an example of how ice skaters deal with the spinning? At any rate, I hope it passes quickly and you can get back to your routine. The weather has been lovely and it's a shame to feel bad!
