~ What I Did Today ~

Can you believe this?  I had to take EVERYTHING out of all the kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as clear off the counters, remove pictures, you name it.

I just tossed the shelf lining on top of more "stuff".

I so hope the tables hold up!  :-)

Just a part of the glass ware/stem ware.  This is just like packing to move ~ which I did twice last year ~ except it's not going to be wrapped and boxed up.

I will not share the bathroom items ~ towels, other linens, body care, make-up, meds, you know what it's like!  The end result is going to be wonderful though and all of this work, worth it!  I know all of you are a jealous wreck that your home is not looking like mine. ;-)

  2. Ummm...so Pat...I'm just wondering what you are doing with all your SPARE time?;>) WHAT a job! I don't envy you one bit!

I just went back and read your last post, too. I am so sorry about the loss of your pet. I know how hard it is and I am so glad it didn't happen on your birthday.

Take good care...and I hope you had a wonderful Sunday-xo Diana

So sorry about your daughter's dog. Loss is painful even though we try to prepare ourselves.

  10. Yikes, glad I don't have to empty things out but I'm sure you will be happy when it is done. Hard to believe it will be 20 degrees there after your hot summer. Thanks for stopping by, Laura

  11. Hi Pat, I did that a few months ago but I put in crochet lining.. I used cotton dishtowel yarn and made each to fit in the cabinets and it's soft and easy to toss in the washer when needed... Bet you felt great with the new liner in... It's quite a job!
Sad you lost the family pet.. my sweet Rikki is on her 16th birthday soon and I'm getting worried about her.
    Happy Holidays

  16. Oh yeah, this looks familiar! I'm still digging out from my home reno. Your cabinets look great, though, and taking stuff out forces us to go through everything, at least! :)
