Some of the "legal ease" is kinda scary.

it is kinda scary but not too scary. Considering we post pics on our blogs everyday for anyone really at free will to take, what makes pinterest so different. I stress the need to watermark our photos. I think it is pins that go viral and no source out that could be a problem.
ReplyDeleteI decided not to pin anything at this time and took down the stuff I had pinned...but...I don't think it will bother a lot of people. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI deleted my account, I had lost interest in it when my vision became worse.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to think. I have started to watermark all my photos, but I'm not doing Pinterest as much as I was. Thanks for the info, who knows what to do anymore??
ReplyDeleteVery interesting! I have an account but never got into the whole thing. Informative post.
ReplyDeleteThis is quite sobering. I have several Boards and lots of pins, but now I'm wondering if I should. It was just a way for me to reference the projects/recipes/products again if I wanted to. Is there a way to make a Board for my use only? Probably not, because it doesn't make Pinterest any money. Personally, I cannot understand why a blogger wouldn't appreciate the traffic that Pinterest brings.
ReplyDeleteMy pinterest board is full
ReplyDeleteof wonderful photos.. but I
also wonder if I should delete
some?? But, think of all the
law suites that may happen?
We also must pay pinterest
legal fees, it says??
Bummer.. sounds like the early
days of Napster....
I'm not sure what to do so I'll
just follow you all and wait
and watch...

Hi Pat, I can't read the article yet, but I am addicted to Pinterest. My little bird Pearl gets repinned a bit,I just wish I had my photos watermarked,I amso bad with technical stuff. xo
ReplyDeleteI'm not super active on Pinterest. The reason I joined was because I get pinned a lot. Not sure what I'm going to do with my pins yet. Oh, btw, I tried to answer your question to me, but you have a no reply email. To answer your question, yes.
ReplyDeleteEeek...I'm not sure how I feel about this. I often pin my own photos and I recently bought a program to watermark them (I just haven't done it yet). I don't use Pinterest alot but I love being able to store recipes etc. that I want to try later. This will require some thinking. Thanks for the heads up!
