For those in the DFW area...it's on tomorrow night, Wed, 15th on KERA. Others might find it scheduled on the local PBS TV stations. Loved Julia ~ she was so real and very funny! Happy Birthday wonderful lady.
It's hard to believe she would have been 100... I checked my local PBS and they have a program on called "Memories Bon Appetit" but not what you posted.. Wonder why it's not shown here? Thanks for sharing because I always loved to watch this amazing woman! Sandy
Hi! I'm back, even though I never meant to take such a long break! Vacation and family stuff just took over for a while.
I remember watching Julia many, many years ago when she was the only one doing a cooking show. I was fascinated even as a kid...I was always meant to love to cook. She really was a pioneer in her field. I can close my eyes and hear her voice. Remember how she was always having a sip of wine...I think she was drunk most of the time!!
Oh I just love Julia, she was hysterical, when I was in DC visiting my son I went to the Smithsonian and saw a whole area set up honoring her. I stood and watched her video's play forever!
It makes my Heart happy to hear from you! Thank you so much for taking the time to say hello. I want to respond to each comment, however, if you are a "no reply blogger" I can't. Would love to have an email address to contact you!
