~ Mirror, Mirror on the Wall ~

Before you view the photos, please know that I'm not a photographer (you prolly are already aware) and that I'm just beginning to work on this room. Even though I moved here about 7 months ago, I just checked out when we lost Abby and nothing really mattered. I gradually unpacked but didn't care about anything as far as decorating, etc. My daughter and one of her friends that calls me her "Texas Mom" came over one day and hung pictures for me. They also put the kitchen together the day of the move. Love their hearts for all they've done!

I had an accent wall painted navy in my bedroom and I absolutely LOVE it!
A lot of us like gold accents...I do!  And I love mirrors so just decided to combine the two elements on this wall. The star shaped mirror on the left and the larger one above have been used in my homes a long time. The one to the right of these was from the Threshold line at Target although mine was black and I spray painted it gold. There are mirrors in this shape at Walmart but the one I purchased was on sale and less expensive.

Moving to the right...the Starburst mirror is another Target purchase with a gift card. The other 2 mirrors on the right used to be in one of my bathrooms at the other place.

The headboard is white velvet and tufted. I have a white comforter but not terribly pleased. I still need accent pillows so just not revealing the rest of the bed at this point.

No wide angle lens but almost a full view of this wall. The monogram was something I did prior to moving. It's from ScrappinPlus on Etsy. I highly recommend them ~ excellent quality and customer service!  I spray painted the R gold and then topped it with gold glitter spray. Love glitter and bling! :)  Please ignore the pillows & bedding ~

A little bit closer view ~ I need to take one really close so you can see the glitter. :)

I love my gold elephant!  It's from another Etsy shop ~ mahzerandvee
They call her "Eunice"....I tend to think of him as "Edward" or "Eduardo". What do you think?  I also purchased a hot pink zebra for my daughter...totally adorable! Again, this shop has wonderful products of great quality and excellent customer service.

Well, this is the beginning of this room. I painted the night stand gold but need to put the hardware back on before I show it to you. Of course, I need to decide about bedding and accent pillows...one thing calls for another doesn't it?  I appreciate your stopping by and making it through, even with my poor photography.
