~ Tuesday Thoughts ~

Texas Bluebonnets

I  'think'  all my technical issues are over!  It's been a rough 6 weeks. My phone number has been changed 5 times ~ yes you read that correctly!  Time Warner Cable would not release it back to AT&T until last Thursday.  On Saturday, the number was disconnected and I was back to the 4th number (temporary) that I had. I had gone as far as the Executive office of AT&T in this whole process. The lady that had been working with me called on Monday, after the last switch, to see how things were going.  I explained the past few days experiences and told her to just leave the number as is.  I was exhausted with all of it!

Does anyone know how to correct the problem with Feedburner not sending emails when a blog post is completed?  I haven't been receiving the emails and it's so frustrating!

Would you believe we've had 90F temps for a few days and this morning it was in the low 50's. Will be the same in the morning and high in the 60's. It's refreshing to me as I dislike the 100+ temps we have during the summer.  I know so many of you are sick of the cold and snow...I would be too if I had experienced a winter that you did.

Do you watch the news daily?  It's so negative, IMHO.  And there's so much flak out there now in regard to the Clippers and Sterling....now the Michael Sam situation.  I so wish there was a station that provided  important  news info, weather and happy, feel good stories.

Do you really care about seeing Tori and Dean's personal business being shown?  I would like to give him a swift kick in the _ _ _!  I guess I just can't imagine putting such personal issues on TV. Now I need to stop the negatives!  :)

I really hope that each of you had a very Happy and blessed Mother's Day!  I had a wonderful day. Went to The Flying Fish in Ft. Worth with my daughter & s-i-l for a late lunch...no crowd and as always, the food was delish!  We had oysters on the half-shell, shrimp, catfish, etc. It just doesn't get much better!

If you watch TV, have you seen the list of cancelled tv shows?  There are some new shows that are being premiered too.

I've been able to spray paint items without the wind blowing and the gold paint is almost gone!  Will hopefully be able to show you a few things very soon.

If you've read all of this crazy post, thank you!!  :)  I am looking forward to being able to catch up with everyone and see what you've been up to.

  1. Did you check your error message on Feed Burner, sometimes they leave an error message that you have to correct before it will send the feed.

  3. The only thing I've heard about the problem with feedburner is that it's not delivering posts to people with a yahoo email account. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon. I've just been telling people to follow blogs on bloglovin if they're having problems getting the emails. That's how I follow all my blogs. I hate all the negative news too. I wish there was a "good news only" program. I'd definitely watch that. But, having said that, I do have to admit that I've been watching Tori and Dean (hanging my head in shame) It's like I can't look away. It draws me in. Lol! I did see the list of cancelled tv shows. I agree with a lot of their choices of cancellations, but I know a lot of people that are going to be upset about Revolution. I've never watched it, but I know it's popular. Oh well. Hope you're having a great day!

  4. The only feedburner thing I have heard is that it is a Yahoo problem. Who knows? It is so aggravating though.
I checked that TV list and I don't watch a single one of those shows that got cancelled.
Hope you have a great day, Pat- I am back from my time away! xo Diana

  5. Ever since CNN followed O.J.'s white Bronco the news has never been the same. It's almost like in that brief period, the forgot how to report news. As for Feedburner, I get a number of blogs and for the past two years, I get them for a while then they stop. A few weeks to two months later they start trickling in again. I have given up trying to fix it as there is no place to really complain about it. I also get Bloglovin but Ido like to file certain things away for later. Isn't amazing how all this technology can get messed up and there really doesn't seem to be anyone out there to fix it? Have a great week and best of luck to you in this Information Age,

  7. Hi Pat! I love Texas Blue Bonnets!

The weather has been very unusual for the last couple of years. We have had rain and it's going to be cooler here this week.

Hope you get all the technical difficulties resolved.

  8. Wow, I can't believe all the problems with your phone number, Pat! Yes, I wish there was a good news program, too. I'm one that doesn't car about Dean and Tori or the Kardashians, for that matter!! I don't watch many shows, but do love The Voice and always find something on HGTV. thank you for addressing the Feedburner issue. Do we contact yahoo then? It's so frustrating!
I hope all your technical issues get resolved. xo
