~ There's No Place Like Home ~

>>> Disclaimer:  Please forgive the photography!  This is a small and very difficult space to try and take decent photos + I'm not the best photographer...as you know. :)
This is a small wall to the right as you enter my apt.

I wanted to share this print from Sasha at Lemonade Makin Mama. If you haven't visited her blog and Etsy shop ~ you must!  She is incredibly talented and her prices are very reasonable. She will close her shop for the holidays Dec 12th so hurry over to shop for Christmas!

Now, let me say that the print is adorable. However, as I said here, glitter runs in my veins. Sasha, please don't hate!  I just needed some glitter on these darling red shoes ~

I just painted some white glue on the shoes, added red glitter and allowed it to dry. Once it was dry, I shook the glitter off.  Some areas did not cover well so I went back over them with the glue & glitter. The photo below is a "before" ~

I tried so hard to change the lighting, took many shots and it just would not photograph well.
This one shows additional glitter that was added.

I had the frame and just painted it red with regular acrylic paint. I did remember to photograph that process, however, now I can't find them!  :)

I bought the "Home Sweet Apt" a long time ago on Etsy...wish I could remember the shop to give them credit. Just added the little mirror for a quick check prior to going out the door!  :)

I so appreciate your stopping by!  Now that you're inside, I'll make some coffee and/or tea and we can visit. Guess I should find some cookies or coffee cake to share also. I do hope you'll return!

  4. What a cute idea! To have a delicious dose of "SpArKlE"... Right when you come in the door. :-)))))

    Or go out the door.

It must put a smile on your face, every time you see this.

Worry not about "capturing" sparkle. It is very, very elusive. "Naughty" sparkle!
