~ Tuesday Thoughts ~

I've been in sort of a reflective mode lately. I so appreciate everyone's good thoughts, prayers and love about AbbyTomorrow, the 8th,  would have been her 18th birthday. I have no doubt that she'll have Heaven rockin' out for her celebration!  :)  I know this brings to the forefront how very precious life is and how it can change in an instant. There are so many precious moments that we might overlook so slow down and really pay attention! The house can go one day without cleaning, projects can wait, go offline and see what your loved ones are doing.

The heat and humidity have arrived!  At least it's not raining day and night although we are under a flash flood watch now. It's cloudy but that's it for the moment.

I think I'm in trouble!  :)  There are several stores and restaurants, banks, drug and grocery stores and Lowe's nearby. Target is just a few blocks away and Hobby Lobby is very close. Today a new Kirkland's is opening in a new area being built within "walking" distance. There will also be a Home Goods, Michael's, Ulta, Cato and a Dick's Sporting Goods opening soon. A Panera is being built along with a few others that haven't been announced yet. Talk about temptation!

I'm almost finished with my closet. Have been clearing out, tossing and donating. If it doesn't look or feel good on, then it must go!  Now I'm not sure what I'll be wearing but at least things will be organized and easy to find. Check back with me in a couple months ~ :)

Just remembered that I completed a pillow with a monogram on it. Haven't taken any photos so will do that and then share. I think I'm probably the worst at not remembering to photograph food, DIY's, changes in decor, etc. Hopefully, that will improve!

This is something I just discovered and thought I'd share. We all have friends and family that need assistance at one time or another. If they live out of town or out of state, that makes it more difficult. Take or Send Them A Meal is an easy online method of ensuring a healthy meal or more could be available. Lots of great ideas!

As always, thank you for stopping by ~ your time and comments are always appreciated!

  4. Watch out for all that temptation!!! -giggggles-

Heat/humidity has arrived up north here, too. I will soon have to turn on the wall A/C here, in the den.

Just so happy that we have A/C.

  5. We use Send Them a Meal in the military and our Sunday school classes all the time; such a great idea. I've also started sending a restaurant gift card to out of state friends who are ill so they can at least have a night off from cooking (even if I can't deliver a meal). Sending you love on this bittersweet anniversary, too. XOXO, Christy
