~ Acts of Kindness Challenge ~

For this holiday weekend, I challenge you to go out of your way to do at least one
kind thing for a random stranger. Big or small, it doesn't matter what it is, and it
doesn't have to cost you anything other than a few seconds of your time. Two things
will happen. First, you will get the self satisfaction of making someone's day by
giving a random gift or just doing an act of kindness. Second, even if they don't pass
it on at least they know that someone noticed them and appreciated them.

With all that's going on in the world today, we should make an effort to remind
people
that we are all in this together! Be willing to help people along the way,
directly or indirectly, anonymously, or face to face. heart emoticon

  1. Pat, This is a good idea here at Labor Day weekend. So many people work and work and still have a hard time making ends meet. A small kindness will carry people a long way, some times. I will try to be more like God wants me to be.. thank you for the reminder. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  2. Oh, Pat you are so right. When I'm feeling sorry for myself, I get out and go. Someone as simple as opening a door for an elderly couple will put a smile on my face. A smile on my face puts a smile in my heart.
