~ Silent Sunday ~

Luke 12:6-7 (NIV)

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

  6. Oh yes! And I agree with your previous post too, in that October is the best (or at least one of the best) months on the calendar. Occasionally we have a cold and dreary October, but usually it's cool, crisp, and beautiful. :-)

  10. Your beautiful silent sundays are quite helpful to me. Our grandson has cancer, has been given 50/50 chance.he's had stem cell transplant, chemo but he's still not doing well. This is second time for him to have cancer, he's 21 now. We don't get to see him, his Mom hates our family, has blocked us all from even getting to send him good wishes on Facebook. They're in Denver for him to be in hospital. I cling to your beautiful Sunday posts.
    Thanks so much Happy week

    1. I am so very sorry! I think of you often and appreciate the update. You know, there's a separation in many families, mine included, and it's so sad. I wonder if those that are younger really grasp what they're doing. Time is something that is so very precious and none of us know how much is given. I will continue to hold you all in prayer and would love to have your email address if you feel comfortable sharing. Sending you peace, comfort and love. Prayers and healing energy for your grandson.

    1. Tina, I'm so sorry. Just reading this. I know how it is to be enstranged from family. If something happened to my brother, niece or nephew, I would not be welcomed. My mom went through years of this. Bless you, my friend and I pray blessing on your family.

  12. The bird is the symbol that I wear. God spoke to me through that verse a couple of years ago. I also love the song, Does Jesus Care? It's an old favorite hymn of mine. Love you, friend.
