~ Silent Sunday ~

I feel very sad tonight as I share this scripture. A dear friend of mine passed away early this morning. She had been ill a very short time.  She was found to have lung cancer about 3 months ago and the oncologist said about 6 months. At least she's not in pain now and I'm sure she's celebrating with loved ones in Heaven. When we spoke a few days ago, she was laughing and that will be a treasured memory.

I'd like to suggest that we try to remember to speak words of encouragement and kindness to our families and friends. Think about it ~ you never know what your last words to someone may be. Make them meaningful, kind, funny, loving and worth remembering!

  2. I am so sorry, Pat. It is always hard to lose a friend even when you know that it puts them beyond pain and angst. We selfishly want to keep them here. God bless you as you mourn your friend. xo Diana
