~ Prayers for Brandye ~

A sweet friend and an amazing young lady needs our prayers in a major way. She underwent surgeries, chemo and radiation all last year for the dreaded "C" word. She's been feeling better and working some. Last Friday she was having lunch with a friend and suffered a major brain hemorrhage. She was rushed to a local hospital and they elected to Care Flite her to a hospital in Dallas. They performed surgery and she's in ICU, unconscious and there is some paralysis.

Tests are continuing...another surgery will be required in a few weeks. They are not sure about possible brain damage or what the future holds. I do know that Drs are not all knowing but our Lord is. He performs miracles daily!

If you're not a person that prays, would you consider sending good thoughts, positive energy, burn candles, whatever your choice might be.  Please remember her husband too!  He needs strength during this trial. They don't have children but do have 4 precious dogs. :)

Thank you in advance!

  2. Oh Pat. I am so sorry, but I know we are not without hope. I will certainly put her on my prayer list and I am saying a prayer even now. I don't have to know her name, but like to say it aloud specifically for her. God knows her by name. that's what's important. I will believe with you.

  3. Saying a prayer for her and her hubby, too. How terrible! That is a perfect quote at the end, Pat. Is it okay if I use it sometime when asking for prayer for someone? That really says it all, doesn't it? Keep us posted on Brandye's health with an update when you can. xo Diana

  14. I was unaware of Brandye's situation as have been pretty concerned about our 22 yr. old grandson who is fighting cancer for 2nd. time in his young life. Not reading blog posts as regularly as before.
I'm glad to hear Brandye is awake now and you can see her. Will surely send prayers her way and hope she continues to recover. How do these kids deal with all of this in their lives? Keep praying and doing whatever you've been doing to help her on her way to life as she was before.
Hope next time we hear from you Brandye will be well on way to recovery.
