~ Nightstand Re-do ~

I did have photos of this piece as "befores", however, they were lost when my other computer died.  It was originally a walnut color that matched the bedroom set I used to have.  I painted it white first and that just wasn't my jam! With the navy accent wall in my bedroom and all the mirrors trimmed in gold that you can see here,  I decided to try a gold finish.

I bought mine at Home Depot, however, I don't think they carry Martha's specialty paints in stores now...they must be ordered.  :/

I did take a photo of the top, however, there was so much glare it's really useless. Please know that I'm certainly not a pro at painting furniture nor am I a photographer. Just keepin' it real!

I recently found the lamp at Kirkland's. I had a gift certificate so that made it even nicer!  :)

  3. Ooooo, that's pretty, Pat. It goes well with your lamp. I think gold and blue together is so lovely. And what a unique lamp that is.

I'm not sure where I got the tea cup because it was awhile ago, but I think I found it at Home Goods because I buy a lot of tea cups there and they have a wonderful selection. If you have one near your house, you should pop on in.

    Have a great week.

  8. Pat, I really like the paint you chose. Paint with a little pearl in it is really pretty.

I'm impressed by the big lamp! My tendency is to pick them too small and I'm trying ot change that. :)

I hope you'll come link with Thoughts of Home on Thursday. :)
