~ Beauty Products and Recommendations ~

I thought I'd share a few beauty items in categories that most of us use.  They're not expensive and all are available at your local drug store, Walmart or Target.  Maybe you'll discover a new product that you will love!

Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Longwear Nail Enamel in Up in Charms

Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Longwear Nail Enamel in Up in Charms

Revlon launched their long-lasting, high-shine formula in 2014. This summer, the brand is adding eight new shades, including this gorgeous sheer pink. One coat creates a your-nails-but-better effect, while two result in the perfect pale-shell color for a polished finish.
* I have not used this. A friend of mine does and she loves it!  It's really a beautiful pale shade.
Wet n Wild Wildshine Nail Color in Grasping at Strawberries and She Sells

Wet n Wild Wildshine Nail Color in Grasping at Strawberries and She Sells)

Wet n Wild just underwent a total redesign: new packaging, new formulas, the whole shebang. I applied just one coat of this superglossy polish (no topcoat) and was shocked to find it lasted almost five days without chipping. Oh, and even with the sleek new look, every color is still only 99 cents.
* Another friend uses most of the Wet n Wild products and swears by them.

Olay Invigorating Champagne Mango & White Ginger Body Wash

Olay Invigorating Champagne Mango & White Ginger Body Wash

A great body wash should be equal parts utilitarian and luxurious. This one is both (ginger and mango smell sophisticated, IMHO), and it's great that it comes in a jumbo bottle.

NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade

This brow pomade is awesome because it fills in gaps like a pencil but has the more natural finish of a powder. This  waterproof  formula comes in five shades and is half the price of similar products.

Advanced Hairstyle BLOW DRY IT LongWear Spray - Dry Shampoo

L'Oréal Paris Blow Dry It Blow Out Longwear Spray

Ignore the name: This is a classic dry shampoo—and it's the best-smelling dry shampoo  ever. There is a light floral scent but does not interfere with perfume or cologne.

  2. Yep, I'm all about the nail polish too. I used to always wear shades of red and often still do but light pink is my go to these days. It's fresh and clean looking without the chips showing so much.

Thanks for joining Thoughts of Home on Thursday Miss Pat. ♥
