~ Tuesday Thoughts ~

I know...I've been a bad blogger lately!  I haven't visited as I'd like nor have I posted much of anything except for the Silent Sunday posts.  I don't want to be a "Debbie Downer" so will just say that I've been experiencing some depression as well as a few health issues.

For those of you that have never experienced a chemical imbalance in the brain, there's no way to really understand the effects it can have.  I do have to say that I'm extremely happy for you and I hope you never have an occasion to do so.  There are still a lot of misconceptions about the subject, however, it's a "real" thing and I'm just being real too!  I haven't turned into Freddie Krueger ~ that can happen with hormones though!  :)  One of the many things I want to ask God one of these days...why did you give women all the "equipment" and symptoms without a "turn it off!" switch?  Surely, that was just an oversight??

This is a horrible photo that I really shouldn't share...just a beautiful shade of roses and yet I couldn't capture it via photos or editing.

I really love Marianne Williamson and her books, etc.  She's just a wee bit political now it seems and I can do without that.  Are you just sick of all the negatives, bashing each other and, IMHO, adults acting like little children arguing over toys?  I would love to hear these politicians voice their appreciation for our country and their intentions to protect it and the citizens. Sadly, it seems it's all about money and power ~ :/

Perhaps this subject is too much for a blog but it's "real" too and is truly bothering me. The transgender bathroom issues concern me. I don't understand the transgender person(s) or their body concerns. What bothers me is having a "male" in a restroom with young girls or vice-versa. I'm just concerned that pedophiles and perverts will use this as an excuse.

In reality, I guess this post could be considered a "downer" due to the subjects. My apologies and I so appreciate your taking the time to stop by!  Next time there will be a recipe, a craft or something funny.  :)

  4. Pat, so sorry you're having a difficult time right now. Sometimes we just have to write what's on our mind.........and that's ok. These roses ARE a pretty color. Wishing you peace in the days ahead.

  6. I'm sorry that you're feeling down, my friend. I think we all have questions that we liked answered. The roses are so pretty and I'm sure even more beautiful in person. I received an email that called for praying for our country at 8:00 central time every evening. I think that's a good idea!

  11. Pat, I hope you're feeling good again soon. It does happen to all of us from time to time--at least those of us who take time for introspection. You're not alone. XO
