~ Monday Musings ~

I apologize that I haven't been posting or visiting much lately.  I've been in such pain with my back plus the nausea associated with it and just haven't had much of anything to share. I had the injections again last Wed and so far, so good!  I'm not sure what's next.  I asked my primary care Dr for a referral to another orthopedic Dr for one more opinion. I'm certainly not an advocate for surgery, however, I tend to think that one big hurt might be better than what I've been experiencing!

Texas has brutal summer heat and we're in the midst of it now. I try to do my errands in the mornings and have just been staying inside during the afternoons. Now that I'm feeling better, I hope to get some things accomplished. I'm counting down the days to September and October!  :)  Fall is my favorite season...I always feel so energized!

Just sharing a couple of funnies here...

Sounds good, huh?  :)  Seriously, this triple digit stuff is not welcome and it can leave any minute as far as I'm concerned!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!  I always appreciate your visits and especially comments. Everyone is so busy and it's great when someone stops by!  I hope you have a blessed week and find a cool place to hang out!  Stay hydrated ~

  1. I hope you're feeling better today. My back bothers me, too. I have refused back surgery because I prefer to have pain managed. I know I will eventually need it but want the least invasive way. Here's to no back pain. I'm in your area. I get infusions for my RA & believe that helps, too. I told hubby yesterday I guess I will have another round of injections. I hate them, but you have to manage some way.

  3. I hope you can find a good physician who can treat your back. I have major damage to several vertebrae and my number one priority has been to exercise and lose some weight. A spinal fusion is the only alternative and some never get over that evasive surgery.

    Good luck dear.
